Blacksburg Citizen of the Year Award On January 20th, the Rotary Club of Blacksburg was honored to present the 2021 Citizen of the Year Award to Dr. Sharon Scott. She retired in December as the Executive Director of the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce.  In her nine-year tenure, Dr. Scott restored financial stability and respectability to the Chamber.  She tirelessly served the business community with professionalism and integrity, while establishing the model for business ethics.
