Rotary Club of Salem Honors Immediate Past President Marty Misicko and Inducts New President Jeffrey Howard



Rotary Cluf of Salem honored immediate past president (2019-20) Marty Misicko for his exemplary club service with a plaque at the induction of incoming President Jeffrey Howard (2020-21) at their club meeting on Thursday, July 2 which was held at the Salem Civic Center. 

Club Programs Chairman Jim McAden presented President Jeff's bio. "Rotary has been a part of his family for a long time.  His great grandfather and grandfather served as the President of the Bucyrus Ohio Rotary Club, where his mother is a current member.  Jeff's son Tim joined a Rotary Club in Maryland last year.  When Jeff was 18, he became a Rotary Exchange student and lived in the Republic of South Africa for a school year.  Jeff joined the Salem Rotary Club in 2013. He has served on the Youth Exchange, Chaplain, Financial Vision, Community Giving and International Giving committees and supported all fundraisers and service projects.  He is a graduate of the Rotary Leadership Institute and in his work life, Jeff is ARCpoint Labs franchise for this region.  He also is the co-owner/CEO of Dynamic Medicial, LLC, a medical laboratory in Vinton.

President Jeffrey Howard delivered a dynamic PowerPoint presentation introducing his officers, committee chairs; explaining the budget, club statistics, and his goals for 2020-21.  His main goals are:  to engage more members in "Service Before Self" and develop fellowship and friendships throughout the Club.  "For fun, he is a woodworker, plays the ukele, skis, plays tennis and mountain bikes.
