Congratulations to Past District Governor Alex Wilkins for being named the Rotary Public Image Coordinator for Zone 33.
In this role, Alex will help Rotarians tell Rotary’s story in a compelling way and guide them in their marketing, media outreach, and social media. Other responsibilities include:
- Sharing Rotary’s story and regional impact with the media and their communities, and equip district leaders to do the same
- Showing district and club leaders how to use Rotary’s online public image resources to increase brand awareness
- Advising districts and clubs on how to implement and regionalize Rotary’s public image campaigns
- Publicizing the role of Rotary and Rotarians in polio eradication
Zone 33 covers 16 Districts.
Alex is a member and past president of the Rotary Club of Stuart. He served as District Governor in 2015-16 and currently serves as the District Foundation Chair. This past year, Alex has served as the Assistant Public Image Coordinator for Districts 7600, 7610, 7620 and 7630.
