  • Brief Description: 
    1. Mock interviews- Members interview high school students for 50+ students
    2. Dictionary/atlas distribution- Purchased, personalized with the 4-Way test, & hand-delivered dictionaries to each PC 3rd grader and atlases to each PC 4th grader. Total of 240
    3. Day of Community Sharing- Partnered with a variety of community organizations to provide new shoes/socks, backpacks, supplies, haircuts, and fun for Pre-K through 12th grade students. Community service info provided for families
    4. Spring Derby- Plan/execute demolition derby on Rotary Complex
    5. Beach Music- Plan/execute 3 day music festival for 2000+ attendees
    6. Patrick County Agricultural Fair- Plan/execute a 6 day event with 10,000+ visitors to enjoy rides, food, agricultural and craft exhibits, business and organizations exhibits, youth animal shows, demolition derby, rodeo, and local music. Event program with ads & sponsorships organized
    7. Loans & Scholarships- Provided 24 graduating students with $40,500 in loans & scholarships to continue their education. Including a first-generation college attendee scholarship.
    8. Backpack program- Club purchased, processed, and delivered weekend food each month for the academic year.
    9. Patrick County Greenteam / “Love it, don’t trash it”- Anti litter campaign created by the Rotary Club of Stuart in collaboration with DRBA, PC Tourism, PC Chamber, & PCHS Interact Club. Goal is to clean up local trails, roads, & streams while creating public awareness on this social & environmental issue
    10. Stuart Rotary Complex- Club owns and maintains 70+ acres including 2 community buildings, 3 soccer fields, softball field, animal barn, and amphitheater used by the entire community. This year, we added free WiFi for community benefit!
    11. Christmas Cheer Wrapping Paper Drive- Members collected and donated wrapping paper for local Christmas Cheer organization
    12. Boy Scout Troop 65- Club sponsors & troop resides on Rotary Complex
    13. Spooktacular- Assist PC Young Professionals & Chamber with traffic control and helping to put on a safe and fun event, 2019 event held at Stuart Rotary Complex due to rain
    14. PC Farm Bureau Ag Expo- Partnered with local ag groups/businesses to host event
    15. Front Porch Fest- Assisted non-proft organization with 5 day music festival security, parking, and merch/ticket sales
    16. Walking Trail in MoD- Working towards providing 3 mile Long trail linking Meadows of Dan to Mabry Mill
    17. PCHS Reality Fair- Members assisted PC Extension Office
    18. RYLA- Members interview and transport students to and from event
    19. Fair Appreciation Dinner- Prepare/host dinner for all community volunteers that assisted us with the PC Ag Fair
