  • Brief Description:
The Warren County Reveille is published weekly. Prior to our meeting it is PMailed to all members and also emailed to the District Governor, District Governor Elect and the Area 1 Assistant Governor. A copy is placed on all tables at our Wednesday morning meetings so that visitors and guests have an opportunity to read it. A copy is also offered to our speaker. Copies of the newsletter are distributed to the local library.

The Reveille keeps our members up-to-date on local club events and Area 1, District 7570 and International Rotary events. Each week, an article on an international project or event is included to keep club members informed. Each edition includes color photos of our guest speakers and a summary of his/her presentation. It also includes information about Rotarians participating in service projects, committee meetings, social events, Interact projects and our weekly “Happy Dollars” (which supports scholarships for local high school students).

Each week the Reveille contains information about:
    • Guest speakers/programs for current and next week
    • List of greeters/member reintroductions and Rotary Minute presenters
    • Club calendar events
    • District Calendar events
    • Member birthdays, club anniversaries and wedding/special day anniversaries
    • Location and times of local clubs’ meetings for make-up meetings
    • Address for online make-ups
    • The Four Way Test
    • Quotes for the week
    • A list of our club’s annual sponsors
    • Information on the book presented as a speaker honorarium and donated to a local preschool
  • Participation of Club Members:
The Warren County Reveille editor writes the weekly content with input from the Board of Directors, committee chairs, the middle school Interact club sponsored by the Rotary Club of Warren County and any other club member. Local community events are included when information is provided. Each week, our club photographer provides pictures taken at meetings, during service projects and at other events related to Rotary. Information on attendance and the recipient of the donated speaker honorarium book is also provided to the editor.
    Club Participation Level = 85%.
  • Resulting Benefits:
The Warren County Reveille keeps the members informed about upcoming events and projects within our club, community, area and district. If a member misses a meeting, they know that they will receive a PMail copy of the Reveille to keep them informed. The articles educate our members about the good work Rotary is doing worldwide. The photos let everyone see what fun a meeting, project, or social event can be. It helps to keep the membership involved when a major fundraiser is being planned, such as our annual Gala or golf tournament. It also lets visitors, prospective members and visiting Rotarians know about who we are and what we do.
