  • Brief Description: 
    RCLL nominates Ruth Ann Parsons, Director of Public Image/Relations. She has given our club a Voice in our Community and the District. Ruth developed our Web site and generates our news letters that are delivered via email to our members. Ruth was instrumental in the development of our Face Book Page providing input and guidance as needed. She is our photographer at all of our events, meetings and projects. She has provided numerous articles to our local News Gazette and to our Dist. Informer. Her article about our New Rotary Club in Town received prominent placement in the local newspaper and left no doubt in its readership that RCLL hit the ground running and was ready to do good in our community and the world. She attends, photographs and chronicles our monthly Vocational visits. She has mentored our members on how to use media to promote our club to potential members and the community. She attended the Dist membership/PI event to expand her skills to better assist our club. Provided help in the creation of our trifold brochure used to inform and promote our club. Ruth is always looking for ways to project our Public Image through media. A great writer, photographer and the consummate Rotarian.
  • Participation of Club Members: 
    100% of our members have been touched or mentored by Ruth through her efforts with our Website, FB, News articles, photographs and her total involvement in all that our club has accomplished to date. Two members were honored by her initiating the nomination process for Citizen of the Year and Volunteer of the year. A Rotarian in RCLL was voted as Citizen of the Year, thereby keeping RCLL in the news.
  • Resulting Benefits: 
    Ruth's efforts in the utilization of media and her many articles have brought an awareness of our club, our Rotary District and Rotary International to our community that ensures that there is no doubt in anyone's mind that Rotary is an asset in our community and the world! Ruth Ann Parsons is our clubs Voice in our community. We and Rotary are better known because of her efforts.
