- Brief Description:
•Patrick County Agricultural Fair – Club plans & executes the county fair - 10,000 visitors to enjoy rides, food, agricultural and craft exhibits, business and organizations exhibits, youth animal shows, demolition derby, rodeo, & music. •Burgers For Badges – Event to honor our local law enforcement. Families in attendance enjoyed yard games, bouncy houses, a DJ, burger bar, ice cream, and fellowship. •Stuart Rotary Complex – Our club owns & maintains 2 community buildings, 3 soccer fields, softball field, animal barn, and amphitheater used by the entire community. •High School Mock Interviews – Members work with high school students to prepare for their future. •Dictionary & Altas Project – Club purchased, personalized & delivered dictionaries for all county 3rd graders and atlases for every county 4th grader. •Back To School Day of Sharing – Back to school event for the county’s most underprivileged elementary school students. Club supplied backpacks & supplies for 146 students. •Weekend Food Packs for Blue Ridge Elementary School – Our club purchased, processed and delivered weekend food for 36 students for the whole academic year on a month to month basis. •Spooktacular – Club worked with Chamber of Commerce and Young Professionals to plan and put on a safe and fun event in uptown Stuart on Halloween. •Caring Hearts Free Clinic Golf Tournament – Club members volunteered to help the local free clinic put on their annual fundraiser. •PCHS Reality Store – Members assisted the Patrick County Extension Office in their Reality Store with local high school students. •Yard Work for The Ayers – Club members performed yard maintenance for a member who had been in the hospital •Moving Day for Brenda Ayers – Club members brought moving trucks and moved a deceased members’ widow into a new house. •Patrick County Christmas Cheer Wrapping Paper Drive – Members participated in a Christmas paper drive for the Christmas Cheer program. •Christmas Visit at The Landmark Center – Visited the local assistant living facility to spread Christmas spirit. We had fun visiting with the residents, serving punch and cookies, and provided a Christmas treat for the 65 residents. •School Scholarships – We provide local graduating high school seniors with scholarships to continue their education. •Stop Hunger Now – We participated in an Area 7 Stop Hunger Now meal packaging event and donated $432 for the cause. •Rotary Youth Baseball Team – We sponsored our own Dixie Youth Baseball Team and a member coaches the team.

Annually $50k donated back to community •Burgers For Badges – (140) Law enforcement & their families appreciated the kind gesture •Stuart Rotary Complex – Ball fields & community buildings are used by countless year round •Mock Interviews – 50 students more confident receiving coaching & mentoring •Dictionary & Altas Project – 360 students received personalized books •Back To School Event -146 students & families received supplies & resources - Fun activities & free lunch •Weekend Food Packs– 36 students in need of weekend food. Families benefited the academic year. •Spooktacular – Families enjoyed a free movie, games, bouncy houses, trick or treating, lip sync battle, karaoke, food and fun. The uptown businesses had opportunity to increase sales •Caring Hearts Free Clinic Golf Tournament - We helped the clinic staff put on a successful fundraiser by filling in at the registration desk, welcoming participants, and taking photos of the event •PCHS Reality Store – Students learned life decisions and working a budget. We helped extension office personnel make event successful •Yard Work for The Ayers – Couple appreciated work & help during Henry’s stay in the hospital •Moving Day for Brenda Ayers - Rotary window & family was grateful •Wrapping Paper Drive –Preventing Christmas Cheer program from having to purchase wrapping paper, paper drive provided all the paper (220 rolls) for families •Christmas Visit to Landmark Center – Residents & staff enjoyed our visit. The residents loved quality time & the Christmas treat •School Scholarships – 7 graduating high school seniors to receive a school scholarship •Stop Hunger Now – 10,152 meals feed those in need.
