  • Describe the Project, its location and its objectives: Sunset Park is located in the eastern area of Waynesboro where the landfill existed at 300 N. Winchester Avenue. It is a connector point to the Skyline Drive tourist area.

  • Describe how the project will benefit the community and/or improve the lives of the less fortunate: Since this is a connector point to the Parkway the community as well as a tourist will be able to visit the park and enjoy the other attractions between Waynesboro and Crozet Va. Another project is being completed to help bikers and walkers to travel between tunnels to the Parkway from Crozet, so this will extend the journey and make the park amenities clear.
