    The due date for your club to apply for a District Grant is quickly approaching! District Grants support our clubs in humanitarian and service projects. Funding may cover up to 50 percent of the total project expenditures with the maximum grant award for an individual club is $4,000.
     
    If you need help, discuss your project ideas with your Area Governor and a member of the District Grants Committee. This assures that projects comply with grants requirements and that applications are complete. District Grant Committee members and the areas for which they are available for consultation are:
     
    A Rotarian at PETS had an ah-ha moment when she realized that their club could apply for a small grant. She said her smaller club hadn’t applied for a district grant before because they were thinking in the thousands of dollars instead of realizing they could go smaller. Her club is planning to apply for $500 to support a local school. So, think small – or think big! Don’t leave money on the table for your club and your community!
