Calling all Rotary clubs to flex your muscles and be creative! In 2016, the Council on Legislation voted to give clubs the freedom to decide when, where, and how they meet and the types of membership they offer. Rotary's International Assembly, its annual training meeting, gives incoming District Governors the chance to share ideas for strengthening clubs and improving communities with Rotary leaders from around the world. That Assembly takes place each year in San Diego, with attendees from the 529 Districts around the world, which contain 32,000 clubs. Botetourt County Rotary Club Holds Its First Annual Fall Raffle
The Botetourt County Rotary Club held its first annual Fall Raffle on November 21.  A total of 25 prizes, all donated by local businesses and other charitable organizations, were up for grabs. Net proceeds topped $4,000.  These funds that will be utilized to support the Addy Grace Foundation, who will be constructing a new all-abilities public playground in Daleville, Virginia, as well as the Rotary Foundation and future RYLA scholarships.
