Friendship Exchange is an international exchange program for Rotary members and friends that allows participants to take turns hosting one another in their homes and clubs.

The Danville Rotary Club Special Recognition Meeting
The Danville Rotary Club had a special meeting, on May 2nd, recognizing 4 new Honorary Members, 16 Paul Harris Fellows, and 2 Paul Harris Society Members.  Three of the honorary members served in WWII.  Governor Chris Runion and AG Charlie Strauss were in attendance and took part in presenting these honors to our club members.

"Approximately thirty, special needs students at Dobyns-Bennett High School in Kingsport, TN, are transported by limousine to a pavilion where the Rotary Club of Kingsport-Downtown serves hamburges & hot dogs to the students.  A DJ plays music.  Everyone has a great time at this annual event," says club president, Milton Carter.  
District Governor Elect Dick Ray Celebrates with Rotary Club of Lexington Lunch
DG Elect ('17-18) Dick Ray joined the Lexington Lunchers for an After Reverse Raffle Celebration on April 5 in Lexington.  The Club's first fundraiser raised $15,000 for local and international charity projects. Event Chair Joanne Robblee extended her sincere thanks to all the club members for making the "Big Deal" event a rousing success. (more....)

Foundation Grants from the Rotary Foundation
As clubs worldwide recently celebrated the 112th anniversary of the first Rotary club meeting, I think it's interesting to also consider the history of The Rotary Foundation and it's impact through humanitarian projects around the world. This first meeting provided the spark for what we all know as Rotary today.
