Skelton Scholar Kojo Abakah Progressing Well in Pharmacy School

Skelton-Jones Scholar Kojo Abakah, originally from Kumasi Ghana, has advanced to his second year at Bill Gatton School of Pharmacy at East Tennessee State University.  Mentored by Johnson City Noon Rotarians Hadii Mamudu - Associate Professor of Public Health and PDG Richard Ray, Kojo continues his path towards doing good in the world in a meaningful way!  After graduation in 2021 and a local hospital assignment, Kojo plans to  return to Ghana to lead Ghanaian Pharmacists towards an improved health system.  Thanks Kojo!  Thanks Greeneville Noon Rotary Club for sponsoring Kojo for the Skelton-Jones Scholarship - currently a $35,000 award towards a graduate degree.  Program details at
