100 years of service in the Winchester community! What an accomplishment for the Rotary Club of Winchester. I was thrilled to be at the celebration to honor your achievements over the past 100 years!

The Rotary Club of Winchester has 158 members, 135 Paul Harris Fellows, 24 Paul Harris Society members, 19 Major Donors at Level 1, one Major Donor at Level 3, one Arch Klumph Society Member, 25 Benefactors, and six Bequest Society Members. They have raised more than $1 million in the last 20 years for The Rotary Foundation.

With projects such as rummage sales, the annual Coat Distribution, the Dictionary project, food distributions, the Henry Evans Home, the flag ceremony on Memorial Day, and the long-standing Apple Harvest Festival, the Rotary Club of Winchester serves to change lives every day. There is no limit to what these Rotarians will continue to achieve.

The Rotary Club of Winchester sets the bar high for other clubs with its exemplary service to its community! I am blown away by the amount of money this club has raised each year that goes back into its community. I hope the local leaders in Winchester know what the Rotary Club of Winchester has done to make their community a better place to live!

While at the 100-year celebration, it was such an honor to recognize several individuals for their contributions to The Rotary Foundation. Congratulations to these Rotarians for being recognized as Major donors and for their faithful giving and service to Rotary:

    • Chris Lewis (Level 3)
    • Julia Connell
    • Sven Hlywiak
    • Phil Glaize
    • Nick Nerangis

I look forward to celebrating everyone’s giving to The Rotary Foundation on November 5 at the Bristol Train Station at our annual Foundation Celebration!
