The Linden Reveille is published weekly and distributed prior to our meeting by pmail to our club members, District Governor, District Governor Elect, and the Assistant Governor for Area One. It is uploaded to the District website and our Club’s website at www.lindenrotary.org. It is also printed and placed on the tables at our weekly meeting where it is available to be picked up by visitors to our meetings.

The Linden Reveille contains information about our local club, Area One, District 7570, and Rotary International as well as The Rotary Foundation. Local articles are provided by Committee and Sub-Committee Chairs and other members. Each week the bulletin contains the following:

The Editor identifies articles from various Rotary Newsletters to include in our bulletin; although, on occasion articles will be forwarded from the Club President or other informed members. The Club’s photographer supplies photographs from each meeting as well as from special events. In the absence of the photographer, other members supply pictures for use in the bulletin.

Each week the Editor receives input from the Club’s President, the Program Committee Chair, photographers, and the Speaker Honorarium Coordinator. Participation Level = 6%

Officers, Committee and Sub-Committee Chairs, Interact Liaison, and other Project Leaders submit articles on an “as available” basis. Total Participation Level= 48%

  • Resulting Benefits:
The Linden Reveille is an essential component in maintaining consistent quality club communications with our members. It keeps members informed about upcoming events and projects in our community as well as projects that are a part of our service worldwide. Articles presented educate our members about the work of Rotary at the local, national, and international level and help members understand the importance of supporting the Rotary Foundation. Not only is the bulletin highly informative, but it also provides a fun way to keep members intrigued with upcoming events, such as our annual Gala and Golf Tournament, through the use of trivia, quotes, and fun facts. Maintaining high interest in major fund-raising events helps ensure that these events are a success – a benefit not only to the club, but to community organizations designated as beneficiaries. We share copies of our bulletin with potential members and visitors to our Club meetings. They enjoy reading our bulletin as a way of finding out more about Rotary and our Club.
