Water And Sanitation

Greetings Rotarians of District 7570. I am excited to speak to you this month. March is Water and Sanitation month on the Rotary Calendar. March is when we will find out how much money we have raised for our Water & Sanitation Global Grant in Ghana,
Africa. At District Conference, we will learn what clubs win $1,000 prizes for:
Most Money Raised
Most Money Raised Per Capita
The Best Decorated Water Jug

These $1,000 prizes are designed to help Rotarians travel to Ghana to take part in this project because, according to Warren County Rotarian Michael Williams, "There is nothing like that glorious moment leading up to and hitting water. The community was overjoyed, as were we!”

Are you registered for District Conference?

Don’t miss this exciting announcement Saturday Night. Water and Sanitation work is right in our wheel house here in District 7570. We have been doing these projects around the world for years. We have our own “Secret Water Weapon,” Walter Hughes.

Walter has just returned from Ghana and will be conducting a breakout session on Saturday afternoon to help every club turn in their grant dollars to the Rotary Foundation. We have dedicated Rotarians who know how to build partnerships, identify projects, raise funds and get the work done. I want to personally thank you for all you are doing to “Be The Inspiration!”
