Register Today!

I realize that you all are busy but I hope not too busy to check out this year's District Conference website: www.rotary7570conference.com. You can go there to begin the registration process. We have some great speakers joining us this year including PDG of District 7330 Dr. Mary Berge, PDG of District 7020 Haresh Ramchandani, New York Times Best Selling Author Jason Wright, and Dean of Academic Affairs at the Blue Ridge Community College Dave Urso.

Our own Area Governors will highlight the accomplishments and successes of the clubs throughout the conference. They will show how Rotarians from all around the district have made positive impacts in their communities, regions, and the world.

There are ticketed events like Bourbon Tasting, Craft Beer Tasting, Chocolate Tasting, and the Homestead History Tour. And you can enjoy one of the breakout sessions which includes New and Flexible Ideas for Growing and Retaining Membership, How the Rotary Foundation Does Good in the World, Innovative Ideas for Club Projects, How to Make Your Club Irresistible through Public Image, and the "Christmas Jar Movement." I encourage you to join us as we celebrate Rotary this year at the Omni Homestead in Hot Springs, Virginia! We have fundraising  opportunities such a Karaoke Competition benefiting the Rotary Annual Fund Share as well as the Silent Auction benefiting Polio Plus!

As important as it is to attend scheduled sessions, I believe having time to make new friends and renew old friendships in Rotary is critical, so please enjoy the time and fellowship. Karen, Mona and I look forward to seeing you there, 13 - 15 March 2020.

Tim Carter
