Reflection

The Rotary year is almost half over – can you believe it?!  As I write to you this month, I have so many mixed emotions.  First, I ask that you please pray with me for the family of our own Past Rotary International Director, Ron Ferrill.  Of the many accomplishments that Ron brought to his community and to Rotary, I was so grateful that he conducted this year's Governor Installation.  Such a true statesman and kind person – please keep his wife, Elaine, and their family in your prayers.

I am extremely appreciative and happy with the District 7570 Annual Foundation Dinner this year. This year's theme was the celebration of three years of a polio free Africa. The entire Foundation Committee, led by PAG Andrea Milliron, did a fabulous job in planning and carrying out the event. Thank you all who supported this event and your support of our foundation.

We are about to go “Live” regarding our registration for the 2020 District Conference! Please save the dates of 13, 14, and 15 March 2020! This year, there will be a great effort in celebrating the work that our clubs and committees do throughout the year as they make positive impacts in the lives of those people in our communities and in other countries.

As the holidays approach, Karen, Mona and I wish you and your families Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! Thank you so much for what you do! What you do matters!
