Membership

Our Membership message this year has been around Rotary International President Shekhar Mehta’s initiative of “Each One Bring One.” We have encouraged clubs and Rotarians to invite guests to weekly meetings, hold membership events to encourage bringing in new members and promote your club’s projects on social media to educate others about the great things that Rotary does in hopes to gain interest from others in joining.

While Shekhar’s goal is for each Rotarian to bring one person into Rotary this year, he also knows that with attrition and other factors, we more than likely won’t actually double our membership. This is why he set the goal of our total membership going from 1.2 million up to 1.3 million.

Taking that same percentage of growth, that would mean our District goal for membership for this year is 3,158 members. Thank you for helping us grow Rotary this year already! We are up 30 members from July 1 and our current total membership in Rotary District 7570 is 2,946.

To reach our goal, we need to continue to invite people to Rotary. Who have you asked?
